Job Requirements:

  • Greeting patients
  • Review all patient paperwork
  • Insurance cards copied
  • Charts prepared correctly and put into bins for Medical Assistants
  • Collecting co-pays
  • Processing payments via credit card machine when necessary
  • Accepting X-rays and medical records for prospective new patients
  • Making appointments when necessary
  • Entering insurance and demographics when necessary
  • Managing referrals and scheduling
  • Schedule management
  • Answer Phones
  • Prepares for clinic through the use of pre-visit planning
  • Has an understanding if MIPS quality measures
  • Complete the physician calendar each month
  • Balancing cash drawer
  • Making the deposit and sending in the copy of daily work to the manager
  • Will travel to two outlying locations each week to assist in front desk duties for provider
  • Will assist Medical Assistants with various clinical duties.
  • Miscellaneous other duties as necessary
  • Maintains strictest confidentiality
