Responsibilities:
  • Clean and inspect equipment used in the blending and production areas
  • Disassembles, cleans, sanitizes, and reassembles processing equipment
  • Performs cleaning in accordance with established guidelines and specifications, and ensures equipment is operational for production runs
  • Prepares and handles sanitation chemicals and equipment
  • Consistently arrive at work on time and fit for duty
  • Perform all work in accordance with company standards and established safety procedures
  • Following established GMPs and SQF Procedures wear proper PPE when needed
  • Keep your area clean at all times, keep tools picked up
  • Follow SOP steps, to complete the task of keeping totes and utensils clean.
  • Complete Daily Log and submit for approval
  • Fill out and complete cleaning logs in electronic form and paper copy daily
  • Responsible for daily scheduling and cleaning of all production rooms
  • Responsible for daily scheduling and cleaning of all areas of warehouse
  • Responsible for Crew of 3 in Sanitation Daily
  • Responsible for Crew of 2 in Janitorial Daily

Experience and Education: 
  • Certification in related field preferred
  • 1-3 years of experience in each area of responsibility required
  • Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers in English and Spanish preferred
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision and as a member of a team
  • Strong work ethic, detail oriented
  • Willingness to do whatever is necessary to get the job done
  • Willing and able to work in wet and dry area’s
  • Able to work around strong smells and in small spaces
  • Occasionally use a respirator is required

Physical Demands: 
  • Physically able to be on your feet the entire shift and perform all tasks which include walking, bending, twisting, pulling, pushing, kneeling, climbing, crouching and lifting
  • Able to lift 45 lbs. on a consistent basis.
  • Orem, Utah 84057 : Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Compensation:
  • $16-20 per hour, depending on experience. 

Work Environment: 
The performance of this position requires regular exposure to manufacturing areas where personal protective equipment such as hairnets, face mask, gowns, and gloves are commonly worn. For the most part, ambient room temperatures, lighting, noise, and food facility conditions exist.
