Manager of Data & Analytics

Job Description

Summary

We are seeking a skilled Manager of Data & Analytics to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting, processing, and analyzing data to provide actionable insights. You will design and develop Power BI reports and dashboards, transforming complex data sets into understandable and visually appealing formats. Your work will support decision-making processes across the organization.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain data models, reports, and dashboards using Power BI and other data analysis tools.
  • Perform data cleansing, transformation, and validation using SQL, Python, or other scripting languages.
  • Analyze data from various sources and provide insights and recommendations to business stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with other data analysts, developers, and project managers to ensure quality and timely delivery of projects.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and provide relevant insights.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Document and maintain data definitions, standards, and best practices.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and developments in data analysis and visualization.
  • Develop and maintain data models and databases.
  • Implement and manage data governance and security practices.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related work experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience in data analysis and Power BI development.
  • Proficient in SQL, Python, or other scripting languages for data manipulation and analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of data modeling, warehousing, and quality concepts and techniques.
  • Experience in creating interactive and dynamic reports and dashboards using Power BI and other data visualization tools.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
