Techwave seeks a high-caliber leader to join our North America Consulting Practice. As a leader within Techwave’s global practice, this individual will provide leadership on multiple dimensions – thought leadership, go-to-market strategy, business development, solution development, and collaborative leadership within Techwave Consulting North America and throughout Techwave more broadly. The successful candidate is known for their ability as a thought leader and subject matter expert to develop go-to-market strategies and solutions and foster partnerships with account teams who have established relationships. They should be able to demonstrate their domain expertise (technology/functional) through a positive impact on our clients.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Create and shape transformative data and analytics solutions that drive need with the executive level of the client’s organization, pulling in the expertise required to elevate opportunities to business transformation discussions.
- Supports business development activities alongside Account Executives, Client Partners, and Senior Leadership within existing client relationships with forward-thinking approaches and strategic concepts that align with client goals and enable account growth.
- Acts as a thought leader for a focus area, domain segment, or horizontal concentration and serves as a gatekeeper to consulting resources and expertise networks.
- Collaborates with practice leaders to conceive, research, and develop thought leadership artifacts (e.g., white papers, perspective articles, case studies)
- Contributes to thought leadership initiatives (e.g., whitepapers, blogs, research), consultant learning, and professional development initiatives.
- Be part of the team building overall Data & Analytics offerings and go to market strategy to address key strategic challenges companies are faced with.
- Channels insights from account planning and mining, industry trends, client relationships, and client system points of contact (POC) into Techwave as input to go-to-market planning.
- Work with the local and wider global technical and business data practice to advise clients regarding their overall Data & Analytics strategy and implementations.
- Help clients get more out of their existing Data & Analytics investments, identifying the solutions and services based on client needs, constraints, and strategies.
- Lead research and strategy creation and sponsor development of new Data & Analytics solutions or services to expand markets, monetize data and grow company revenue.
Required skills:
- 12+ years of solid Data & Analytics experience in consulting, digital strategy development, advisory services, or transformation programs.
- Direct experience of solution shaping and architecture development during pre-sales & delivery including excellent documentation skills.
- Microsoft Azure Big Data Architecture certification.
- Hands on experience architecting and delivering solutions using the Azure Data Analytics platform and solutions including but not limited to Azure Databricks, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure Data Factory, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Azure Storage, Azure SQL Data Warehouse, Azure Data Lake, Azure Search, and Snowflake
- Experience designing and implementing machine learning solutions as part of high-volume data ingestion and transformation pipelines.
- Knowledge and experience of working with image data in a machine learning environment.
- Experience with Open-Source technologies such as Apache Spark, Hadoop, NoSQL, Kafka, Solr/Elastic Search
- Experience with best practice design principles and approaches for a range of application styles and technologies to help guide and steer decisions.
- Demonstrates thought-leader level abilities as a team leader, emphasizing a broad subject matter expertise and success with Data and Analytics solutions.
- Working experience with various consulting frameworks, processes, and methodologies
- Experience building relationships and managing clients at the senior leadership level.
- A significant track record of success in strategic consulting serving companies on a diverse set of strategic and operational issues.
- Experience in developing and presenting detailed, compelling, and analytical content (PowerPoint/Excel/Word/Visio) to convey complex thoughts and ideas to various stakeholders.
- Entrepreneurial, proactive, and productive; someone who instinctively knows what to do and when to do it.
- Articulate and compelling in their oral and written communication skills; engaging and concise – with interpersonal “presence.”
- Energetic, with drive, enthusiasm, and a natural skill in relationship development; an extensive network of potentially relevant relationships.
- Able to function as a “player/coach” – simultaneously helping to lead the practice while directly involved in several client engagements.
- Excellent communicator with the ability to articulate complex information into meaningful action items and decisions for senior leaders.
- Availability to travel up to 40%.
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology (IT) or equivalent relevant business or technical discipline
- Experience in working in global organizations or with global clients.
- Industry Expertise in any of the following of Life Sciences, Consumer Product Goods, Retail, Wholesale Distribution, Financials.
