Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled MS Office 365 Specialist to join our IT team. As an MS Office 365 Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and administering our Office 365 environment. Your primary duties will include configuring, managing, and troubleshooting various Office 365 applications such as Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, Teams, and other associated collaboration tools. You will play a key role in ensuring seamless integration and optimal utilization of Office 365 services across the organization.


Travel between facilities within the MSO system may be required.  


Responsibilities:

  • Manage and administer Office 365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, Teams, etc.
  • Configure and maintain user accounts, licenses, and security groups.
  • Monitor and optimize the performance of Office 365 applications.
  • Implement and manage email migration to Exchange Online.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Office 365 users.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate Office 365 with other systems and applications.
  • Develop and maintain documentation related to Office 365 configuration, processes, and procedures.
  • Stay updated with Microsoft's latest Office 365 features and functionalities.
  • Recommend and implement best practices for Office 365 usage and governance.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven experience as an Office 365 Administrator or similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of Office 365 applications such as Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, etc.
  • Hands-on experience with Office 365 administration tools and PowerShell scripting.
  • Strong understanding of Office 365 security and compliance features.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve complex issues.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Microsoft certifications such as MCSA: Office 365 or MCSE: Productivity.
  • Experience with Office 365 tenant-to-tenant migration.
  • Familiarity with third-party Office 365 tools and applications.
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure Active Directory.
