Job Description:  Engagea Comm is seeking a talented and dynamic Social Media Coordinator to join our team in Washington DC. This role will be responsible for managing and executing our social media strategy across various platforms to enhance brand awareness, engage our audience, and drive business objectives. The ideal candidate will be creative, strategic, and have a passion for social media marketing.

Job: Full time
Pay Range: $25.50 - $30.00 hourly

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute social media marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility and drive engagement
  • Create, schedule, and publish captivating content across multiple social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn
  • Monitor and analyze social media performance metrics, providing regular reports and insights to optimize campaign effectiveness
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices, and apply them to enhance our social media presence
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all social media channels
  • Engage with followers and respond to customer inquiries and comments in a timely and professional manner


Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field required; advanced degree or certification in Digital Marketing or Social Media preferred.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices, with proficiency in social media management tools and analytics platforms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling content and messages tailored to different audiences and platforms.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with a passion for innovation and staying abreast of emerging trends and technologies in social media marketing.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
