Job DescriptionJob DescriptionResponsibilities: 2nd Shift Inventory Control Specialist: Sunday - Thursday: 4 PM - 12:30 AM:
  • Records and Maintains control of all inventory items purchased and produced
  • Run a series of inventory reports on daily, weekly, or monthly basis
  • Validate received merchandise to description and package details from original purchase order.
  • Perform inventory adjustments (quantity and price variance updates & analysis)
  • Work in tandem with the Warehouse, Purchasing & Accounting teams and maintain flexible attitude supporting all stated objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with established internal control and procedures
  • Compiles records from receiving materials.
  • Updates information on computer to maintain inventory records.
  • Assists in inventory and procedural audits when necessary.
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements: 2nd Shift Inventory Control Specialist: Sunday - Thursday: 4 PM - 12:30 AM:
  • High School diploma or GED Required
  • Minimum of 2 to 3 years inventory accounting experience
  • Must be able to communicate clearly both in writing and verbally
  • Strong computer and data entry skills
  • Ability to create and use spreadsheets via Excel
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Prior experience with cycle counting and inventory reconciliation
  • Prior experience working with inventory in a warehousing environment
  • Strong math skills, attention to detail
  • Must be able to work on complex tasks, prioritize workload and advise others in department on workflow.
  • Strong teamwork skills and the ability to be a resource to other departments.
