The Hotel Indigo & Holiday Inn Express is currently seeking a dynamic, experienced and motivated individual for the position of Complex BT Sales Manager at our StepStone Hospitality managed hotel. This candidate should demonstrate excellent organizational & communication skills; a strong proficiency in multi-tasking with hospitality sales experience essential.

Requirements:

The responsibilities of the Complex BT Sales Manager include but are not limited to:

  • Solicitation of new and existing accounts to meet and exceed revenue goals through telephone/e-mail, solicitation, outside sales calls, virtual/site inspections and written communication
  • Focus on Active Selling with strict prospecting activity goals
  • Ability to book new business travel accounts both National and Local
  • IHG experience preferred but not necessary
  • Ability to work with the operation team to execute business
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to maximize revenue. Meet sales goals through the development of new customers as well as nurturing existing client relationships
  • Ability to quote rates and availability to customers and manage alongside revenue management for optimal pricing
  • Must have the ability to communicate effectively with all hotel departments but also work independently
  • Assist with other areas as assigned by the General Manager, and Director of Sales and Marketing
  • Ability to work with outside local vendors to execute successful events
  • Ability to log all sales related activity in the Amadeus Sales and Catering sales software system
  • Delphi FDC and Profit Sword experience

Preferred Skills:

· Self Starter

· 2-3 years of total BT management in large chain hotels within the Austin Area

· Proficient in Delphi FDC, Lanyon and Opera

· Well Versed in IHG Merlin, IHG Way of Sales and IHG BT systems

· Proficient in Microsoft Word, Office, Chrome, Internet Explorer

· Well organized and detail oriented

· Ability to work independently

· Display initiative, perseverance and analytical skills

· Effective communication

· Professional and ethical

· Displays enthusiasm

· Excellent customer service skills
