Veris Manufacturing (an Emerald Technologies company) has an exciting opportunity for a Quality Control (QC) Documentation Clerk to join its Brea, CA team The QC Documentation Clerk will be responsible for assisting the Jr. Quality Engineers with compiling, organizing, and maintaining Quality Department documentation, including photographing key steps of the manufacturing process.

Responsibilities of the QC Documentation Clerk:

  • Assist the Jr. Quality Engineers with FAIRs (First Article Inspection Reports) and become familiar with AS9102 requirements.
  • Take high quality photos of key manufacturing steps and finished products. Document and organize photos in a centralized computer storage system.
  • Generate certificate of conformance per customer requirements.
  • Become familiar with technical drawings and specifications. Learn to interpret drawing specifications and notes.
  • Assist in the preparation of comprehensive documentation packets for aerospace customers by entering and/or retrieving data from the Manufacturing Information System (Aegis FactoryLogix) and other data storage systems.

Qualifications of the QC Documentation Clerk:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 2 years in the contract manufacturing industry or similar experience preferred but not required.
  • Experience in engineering or manufacturing related documents preferred but not required.
  • Experience in the Aerospace and Defense industry, medical, or any regulated industry is preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as drawing notes, procedures, work instructions, safety rules, and internal emails.
