We are seeking an experienced individual to focus on building relationships and selling our capabilities in the instrumentation, valve and pump equipment markets. This exciting opportunity has large growth potential as the company expands into additional territories, product lines and markets.

**Qualified candidates must be able to travel periodically to Northern California with an understanding of the municipal water market and the ability to make outside sales calls.**

Responsibilities:

· Research, identify and establish contact with new potential customers and generate project leads while developing relationships.

· Utilize CRM software to upload, maintain, and manage contact lists to advance sales efforts with existing and new customers.

· Emphasize the features of all SFWS products and fabrication services to meet customer needs and solve tough problems.

· Schedule and perform product demonstrations with potential customers for Product Lines represented and In-House capabilities.

· Attend industry trade shows to identify potential sales leads and make meaningful contact with existing customers from General Contractors, Engineers, and Owner/End-Users.

· Follow industry trends and assess the competition to identify new opportunities for potential sales.

· Recommend marketing strategies to target a specific region or demographic.

· Generate and submit sales reports to management.

· Be knowledgeable about basic Instrumentation, Pumps, Valves, and other related mechanical products.

· Negotiate prices and terms and prepare sales agreements

· Collaborate with colleagues in many different sectors.

Position Qualifications:

· Education: Business-related bachelor's degree preferred.

· Possess some related Municipal or Industrial Water Industry experience.

· Excellent Communication and Presentation Skills.

· Adept with MS Office Products.

· 2+ Years experience in related Outside Business-to-Business Sales with a proven track record of success.

· Must possess an entrepreneurial spirit.

· Ability to travel.
