Granite Mountain Quarries is looking for the right culture fit to join our team as a Safety & HR Coordinator for our office in Little Rock, Arkansas. This position will report to the Safety & Human Resources Director and through its duties will help ensure that GMQ continues to maintain an outstanding safety record and healthy work culture.

Primary responsibilities will be:

• Taking ownership of GMQ's safety submission process ("Good Catch")
• Completing all paperwork and communications related Incident Reporting
• Filling out Personnel Action Forms (PAFs) for all employee changes
• Other duties as required, related to Safety & HR departmental responsibilities

Basic Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Mining Environments
• Part 46 MSHA Certified (or willing to get certified once hired)
• Computer skills and knowledge to operate internal programs and databases
• Demonstrated written and oral communication skills and ability to communicate with tact and diplomacy
• Must have strong relationship management skills with the ability to train, influence and motivate team members
• Capable of maintaining a high level of confidentiality and professionalism in difficult situations
• Must be willing to travel on occasion
