South Washington County Schools is looking for creative and collaborative individuals to join our before and after school programs Our Child Care Inclusion Staff engage with all students, with a specific focus on children with additional needs and creating an inclusive environment. Job responsibilities include:

  • Plan and lead activities and games for students with a focus on inclusion 
  • Lead inclusion based initiatives 
  • Take attendance and communicate with parents/guardians during drop-off and pick-up 
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and positive environment for our students
  • Serve as a coach and mentor for other program staff 
  • Attend regular staff leadership meetings
  • Open and close program as needed

Pay & Schedule:

  • Competitive pay at $24.10/hour
  • Full-time (split shift) and part-time (before or after school) opportunities available
  • Hours are Monday - Friday from approximately 6:15 am - 9:30 am (mornings) and 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm (afternoon). Hours vary by location.
  • Option to increase hours during the summer and on non-school days

Qualifications:

  • Some formal education experience is preferred but not required 
  • One of the following;
    • High school diploma with 120 hours of relevant training and one year of experience in a related field
    • Associates Degree with 6 months of experience in a related field
    • Bachelors Degree with 3 months of experience in a related field
