Hawthorn Topgolf Swing Suites Odessa is looking for an enthusiastic server to provide an excellent guest experience. Good servers will be able to learn and know all menu items providing and exceeding customers’ needs and expectations.

Job Responsibilities

  • Interact with customers, take orders and serve food and drinks
  • Serve alcohol and non-alcohol based drinks
  • Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
  • Ability to recommend and up-sale cocktails, signature drinks and food items including specials
  • Prepare server area and condiments
  • Buss your own tables, pre buss when necessary
  • Check all customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age and is current and meets TABC standards
  • Know and enforce TABC regulations
  • Restock and replenish any necessary inventory and supplies
  • Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
  • Comply with all food and beverage regulations
  • Comply with all Standard Operating Procedures outlined by management
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Resume and proven working experience as a server
  • Training will be available for those with minimal experience or customer service experience
  • Excellent knowledge of drinks, food, and preparation standards strongly desired
  • Computer literacy
  • Point of Sale operation knowledge
  • Ability to stand and or walk for 8 hours
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
  • Knowledge of a second language is a plus, but not a requirement
  • Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
  • Ability to be on time and in Full Uniform by designated shift start time
  • Ability to keep the restaurant sections organized, stocked and clean
  • Must have current TABC and FOOD HANDLERS certification
