Business Development Representative

As an Entry Level Business Development Representative at MIE Group, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth of this business by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual who is passionate about sales, networking, and fostering relationships. You will be joining a dynamic team of professionals dedicated to delivering exceptional service and creating impactful experiences for their clients and partners.
Responsibilities:
- Research and identify potential clients and partners within target industries.
- Prospect and cold call leads to generate new business opportunities.
- Develop and maintain relationships with prospective clients through effective communication and follow-up strategies.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop strategies for lead generation and client acquisition.
- Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to network and promote our services.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to prospective clients showcasing the value proposition of our trade show solutions.
- Assist in the development of sales proposals and contracts.
- Track and report on sales activities and progress using CRM software.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications or equivalent experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong sales acumen and ability to effectively communicate the value proposition of our services.
- Proven ability to prospect, cold call, and generate new business leads.
- Highly motivated and target-driven with a passion for sales and business development.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in sales, business development, or customer service.
- Knowledge of the trade show industry and familiarity with trade show management processes.
- Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
