Emergency Management, ensuring service quality, personnel management, and resource allocation.Location: Austin, TXCompensation: Min: $132,828 | Max: $199,222 (plus bonus incentive)Schedule: Full-time, No WeekendsQualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in nursing required.
- Master's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or Business Administration required.
- 3+ years of experience in emergency services required.
- 5+ years of experience in a leadership role required.
- Current RN license or eligibility required.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required.
- Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) preferred.
- Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) preferred.
- Identify and resolve real/potential problems affecting emergency services.
- Participate in service, departmental, and hospital-wide committees, providing ongoing communication.
- Enhance the patient experience agenda in the Emergency Department.
- Provide feedback and development plans for subordinates.
- Communicate departmental, organizational, and industry information to staff.
- Facilitate evidence-based employee engagement practices.
- Build strong relationships to achieve organizational and departmental goals.
- Conduct employee and patient rounding, mentoring potential future leaders.
- Enforce standards of emergency department care and ensure consistent compliance.
- Community hospital with a 364-bed facility, expanding in the next 3 years.
- ER: 48 beds + 9-bed fast track; capable of expanding to 27 beds in hallways.
- Level II Trauma Center, averaging 250 visits daily.
- Overseeing 2 Free Standing Emergency Departments: Bee Cave (9-10 daily visits) and Bastrop
- (40-50 daily visits post-Ascension cyber attack).
- Oversee the inpatient hold unit.
- Reporting to ACNO, managing approximately 97 FTEs.
- Incentive bonuses
