Job DescriptionInbound Phone Sales is responsible for answering phone calls from DDC’s global customers and answering questions about DDC’s relationship testing products, used for immigration, surrogacy, confirming the father of a child, etc. Inbound Phone Sales determines the services our clients require, charts their course through the testing process, and closes the sale.
Schedule is Mon-Fri 11am-8:00pm EST. Central, Mountain, and Pacific time zone candidates encouraged to apply.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Field 30-40 inbound calls per day requiring active listening and documenting customer details.
- Quickly understand and analyze customer needs through a consultative sales approach.
- Explain DDC’s products and services in a professional manner via phone, email, text message, or chat.
- Analyze the customer problem properly and provide logical solutions.
- Communicate effectively with the intent of finalizing sales opportunities.
- Meet Key Performance Indicators stated in the Sales Compensation Plan including Closing %, Revenue Per Call, and Sales Quota.
- Escalate customer needs that require additional knowledge or ability to leadership.
- Research required information using available resources.
- Attend training and coaching sessions to develop relevant knowledge and skills.
- Able to document information in an application while on an active call.
- Able to learn other database and communication software, as applicable.
- Follow DDC procedures and guidelines to ensure that DDC’s services are offered in a manner consistent with our mission and vision statements.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Minimum one (1) year of previous sales experience (retail, inside sales, or logistics).
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including active listening.
- Ability to cope with difficult customer situations.
- Results-driven and able to maintain and sustain individual and company goals.
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient computer and typing skills with the ability to learn new software.
- Ability to demonstrate and uphold the highest levels of ethical behavior and confidentiality.
- Completion of HIPPA training.

- Training: Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:30pm
