Our current opening is a Shipping and Receiving Associate with material handling experience. The individual is part of a team that supports various departments by managing incoming raw materials and outgoing assembled products. They will move, store, and categorize items properly. Document deliveries and ensure shipments are correct and undamaged. Validate incoming deliveries against purchase orders. Analyze sheet orders to prepare correct merchandise for clients. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities we are looking for:
- Accept and document packages and deliveries made to the facility
- Store items received in appropriate storage areas, documenting any changes
- Prepare items for shipping, noting item contents, delivery methods, and other logistical details
- Identify and resolve shipping, storage, or receiving discrepancies as they arise
- Maintain an organized workspace
Required Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma
- Prior warehouse experience is a plus
- Forklift experience is a plus, but not required. Will train.
- Excellent stamina, strength, and dexterity.
- Exceptional organizational skills
- Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure.
- A willingness to learn and work overtime when required.
