JOB SUMMARY:

To assist the Chief Administration Officer (CAO) and Program Directors/Managers/Coordinators with all items focused on the usage, training and implementation of state-specific and job specific training for employees at A New Leaf, Inc. (ANL) in all departments. Manage, execute, and track all training needs for each staff member. Monitor and maintain all training data within ANL’s designated data collection system for staff.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Establishes a positive working relationship with staff, clients, and the leads for the learning management system utilized for training records of all employees.
  • Maintains the employee training documentation system, ensuring data is correct and working within the entire system to ensure effective use. Reporting and communication through the learning management system utilized fully. Reviews and recommends any system enhancements for training needs.
  • Assist in development and supports short- and long-term strategies to implement necessary state-required training, as well as on-going training for staff development and new hires.
  • Manage new employee training, initial training, and on-going training needs.
  • Assist in development of training profiles for each employee currently and work with Human Resources Generalists to determine and develop future training opportunities for staff growth based on supervisor needs.
  • Assist with compliance with Oklahoma Developmental Disability Services Policies and Procedures.
  • Maintains confidentiality regarding all client and staff information, correspondence, and reports.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned to benefit the mission of the organization.


Requirements:

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Have and maintain a valid driver’s license, including dependable vehicle/transportation to and from work, and automobile insurance coverage at all times, to ensure you are eligible to operate company vehicles.
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
  • Work flexible schedule based on the those served by and the needs of A New Leaf, Inc., including but not limited to working scheduled evenings or weekends based on the department/event need.
  • Expressed desire to work with as well as a positive attitude when working with individuals with developmental disabilities and autism.
  • Strong organizational skills and an ability to thrive and be productive equally in a team oriented or autonomous environment.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office programs.
  • Ability to clearly exemplify A New Leaf, Inc.’s Core Values of Client-Centered/Customer-Focused; Professionalism; Innovation; and Collaboration.

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum age – 21 years old
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
  • 1-3 years’ experience in a related field preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged period sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Bending, stooping, and lifting a minimum of 30lbs.
