As a Field Service Technician, you will play a crucial role in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical equipment, performing scheduled maintenance, and ensuring customer satisfaction through timely and professional service. This position requires a deep understanding of heavy equipment mechanics, particularly diesel engines and hydraulics, and the ability to work independently in the field.

Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues on heavy and compact equipment such as excavators, dozers, and wheel loaders.
  • Perform scheduled maintenance work based on customer needs and requirements.
  • Respond to customer service requests promptly and professionally, meeting or exceeding departmental objectives.
  • Collaborate with the service team to provide high-quality solutions and maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain detailed records of service work, repairs, and maintenance performed.
  • Ensure all equipment is operating efficiently and safely, adhering to company standards and industry regulations.
Qualifications
  • Experience as a "Yellow Iron" mechanic, with expertise in heavy and compact equipment.
  • Strong knowledge of diesel engines and hydraulic systems.
  • Proven troubleshooting skills with mechanical and electrical equipment.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in the field.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with a commitment to customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to maintain detailed records and documentation of service work.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to customer sites as needed.
