Responsibilities:
- Manage diverse projects, involving multidisciplinary teams to ensure on time, on budget, and with a focus on high-quality delivery while meeting project metrics
- Maintain and grow client relationships
- Attend meetings with clients, municipal officials, engineers, developers, and contractors
- Lead or assist in the development of strategy, the scope of work, evaluation of risk, and budget for projects
- Supervise and provide work assignments to internal project teams and subcontractors
- Interact with regulatory agencies knowing what information to provide, when and with appropriate internal or client review
- Manage and perform technical engineering work associated with land or site development including site planning and layout, entrance design, design of stormwater management, conveyance, erosion and sediment control practices, and site grading
- Review engineering analyses and reports from junior staff members
- Prepare construction plans for agency/municipal review along with completion and submission of various land development permit applications
- Mentor aspiring engineers and technicians
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in civil/geotechnical engineering, advanced degree is preferred
- 10-20 years of land development, geotechnical/civil-site engineering and construction review experience with 4-7 year of those years as a Project Management
- Professional Engineer (PE) licensed in at least one New England state with the potential for reciprocity in others
- Willingness to travel to projects within New England and New York
