Position Overview
As a Senior Growth Marketer, you will play an integral role in accelerating Maza’s customer acquisition through ownership of select channels. This role will focus on scaling Maza’s subscriber base through our affiliate network, testing new distribution funnels, and lifecycle marketing campaigns that convert leads to subscribers. You will be responsible for driving growth through a customer-centric lens, while measuring how your work translates into business metrics.
This role is for you if you enjoy navigating ambiguity and truly making an impact on a company's growth. You will have direct impact in taking us from Series A to B.
Responsibilities:
- Subscriber Acquisition:
- Accelerate Maza’s new subscriber count by leveraging channels such as affiliates, lifecycle marketing, and other distribution strategies.
- Self-Directed Product Marketing:
- Position Maza’s product effectively within channels you own, leveraging our universal roadmap and positioning guides.
- Self-Directed Analytics:
- Drive your own channel’s analytics and form hypotheses from data you can query, partnering with Maza’s Analytics team for more in depth projects.
- Lifecycle & CRM Campaign Management
- Design lifecycle marketing campaigns that convert leads into new customers, from initial awareness to purchase.
- Drive the lifecycle roadmap, defining requirements to evolve the channel’s infrastructure to match the experimentation pace of performance creative.
- Landing page & full funnel creation
- Leverage our CMS to build full funnel content to test hypotheses, including the creation of landing pages, email sequences, etc
- Testing Non-Traditional Distribution Channels:
- Identify and test non-traditional distribution channels such as OOH, community groups, etc., to drive traffic for Maza at lower rates than existing channels.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in growth or channel marketing, with a track record of project or portfolio ownership.
- Domain knowledge of a growth channel, preferably adjacent to affiliates, referrals, lifecycle/CRM, or OOH.
- Strong understanding of marketing funnels, channels, and KPIs such as CPM, CTR, CVR, CAC and LTV.
- Experience with data-driven decision making and the ability to refine hypotheses & iterate intra-project.
- Self-sufficient project management, with the ability to lead initiatives and collaborate across teams with minimal oversight.
- Beginner SQL knowledge, proficiency strongly preferred. If no SQL knowledge, then intermediate Excel and willingness to learn SQL are requirements.
- Fluent written and spoken Spanish. This individual will be executing campaigns and speaking to external stakeholders (eg affiliates) in Spanish with minimal oversight.
