Join our client's industry-leading field service team as a Senior Compressor Technician In this role, you'll work on air compressors, pumps, dryers, and vacuum systems at various customer sites, and leverage your expertise to train and mentor junior technicians.


Essential Job Duties:

- Use sketches, blueprints, and manuals to troubleshoot and repair machinery.

- Diagnose issues using tools and troubleshooting methodology.

- Inspect, listen, and dismantle machines to find malfunctions.

- Measure and inspect parts for wear or misalignment.

- Apply knowledge of electrical circuits, mechanics, and pneumatics.

- Test and replace faulty electrical components.

- Troubleshoot PLCs with diagnostic tools.

- Train and mentor junior technicians, sharing knowledge and best practices.


Qualifications:

- Apply mechanical and electrical principles.

- EPA Universal and refrigeration training.

- Valid drivers license and insurable driving record.

- Some overtime and occasional overnight travel.

- Minimum of 5 years of compressor maintenance and repair experience.

- Comfortable training and mentoring others.


Preferred Skills:

- Recognize common mechanical and electrical components.

- Effective system troubleshooting skills.

- Strong customer relations skills.

- Proven leadership and training abilities.


Physical Demands:

- Lift 10-100 lbs.

- Perform various physical activities while working on industrial equipment.


Pay Rate:$50 - $65 per hour
