Parking Enforcement Agent

UPP Global is a growing full-service parking management company with expertise in all verticals of parking. We are active in 9 states along the Eastern Seaboard with over 300 locations We are looking for Parking Enforcement Agents for our Burlington, VT locations. Now is the right time to become a team member at UPP Global Earn up to $20/hour or more in this role of a Parking Enforcement Officer, from a base hourly pay that is supplemented by a $2 commission for each citation you issue that is paid.
Position Key Highlights:
- We have Part- time schedules available 12pm-10pm, including a regular "morning" 6am-11am shift and additional afternoon shifts.
- The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills and will maintain a clean, professional appearance.
- Weekend availability is a must
- Candidates must possess a valid license and undergo a motor vehicle background check.
- Some technical proficiency is required, as a parking management system utilizes hand held mobile devices, computerized tracking, and data entry/reporting.
Job Responsibilities, Duties, and Requirements:
- Maintain a pleasant, friendly, and professional demeanor with all guests, parkers, co-workers, and clients
- Patrol and monitor each lot to ensure that only authorized vehicles are parked
- Enforcing lots by issuing citations based on our preapproved guidelines to any non-paid or time-expired parkers
- Manage lot signage, for example: taking down, repairing, and assembling signs
- Maintain lot cleanliness by picking up trash, cleaning signage, and other general lot maintenance
- Walk, sweep, or hose down the parking lot areas, sidewalks, and walkways. Maintain walkways as required to keep them free of snow, ice or other environmental hazards. Use slip and fall markers where appropriate.
- General landscaping duties as needed and depending on season
- Trouble shoot parking meters/equipment when applicable
- Responsible for preparing reports and filing paperwork regarding violations and citations
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Must be proficient with mobile applications and hand-held devices
- Must be willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Must be comfortable sitting, standing, walking, running, driving and being active for most of the day
- Must possess current drivers’ license and maintain a clean driving record
- Must have a clean, professional appearance at all times and strictly adhere to the company’s personal appearance and uniform policies
- Must be at least 18 years of age and able to pass a criminal background check
- Must have a good work ethic and be a team player
- Possess strong customer service and communication skills
