Piedmont Airlines is seeking a skilled and reliable professional to join our Ground Handling Department as a Ramp Agent. This role involves providing industry-leading service to our customers and airline partners by handling baggage and servicing aircraft in a fast-paced outdoor airport environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Below-the-wing servicing of aircraft
  • Loading and unloading baggage and cargo
  • Operating motorized service vehicles and equipment
  • Guiding and parking aircraft
  • Performing cabin maintenance tasks
  • De-icing aircraft

Requirements:

  • Successful completion of training course
  • Ability to meet company goals and customer expectations in a high-energy environment
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and multitask

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous airline experience
  • Previous employment as a front-line customer service provider
  • Basic knowledge of computer applications and programs

Work Environment:

  • Use of computers, telephones, and other office equipment
  • Airport ramp environment, subject to varied weather conditions and elevated noise levels
  • All shifts, including weekends, nights, holidays, and/or irregular shifts

Physical Requirements:

  • Frequent stooping, bending, kneeling, walking, standing, reaching, lifting, climbing up and down stairs
  • Handling objects up to 70 pounds
  • Assisting passengers with disabilities, including pushing wheelchairs

Piedmont Airlines offers a comprehensive benefit package, including paid training, holiday pay, 401(k), vacation, and family travel on the American Airlines network. Medical and dental benefits are also available.

Starting Rate: $18.00/Hourly
