Exciting opportunity for an Experienced Xactimate Estimator with experience in Restoration, Water Mitigation, and Mold Remediation. This is an on-site position.

Job Description:
Provide on-site inspections for water mitigation, mold remediation, fire restoration, and other restoration services for both commercial and residential properties. Create a full Xactimate estimate prior to work beginning as well as final invoices upon completion of work. Close the sale for the estimated job and then work closely with the Production Managers throughout the job process. Communicate with insurance carriers and adjustors to ensure accurate documentation throughout the process.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Conduct initial onsite inspections including initial photos and sketches to understand full job scope.
  • Create estimates in Xactimate for jobs related to water mitigation, mold remediation, fire, and bio-hazards.
  • Review job scopes and related paperwork and ensure accuracy and clarity.
  • Moisture Mapping of site if required.
  • Communicate with insurance companies to ensure proper coverage exists, estimate differences are agreed to, proper documentation is submitted, and if any restrictions are written within the policy that could limit scope.
  • Communicate with customers and carriers to ensure project is approved and accepted.
  • Utilize Xactimate to generate invoices and send to customers/Insurance companies.
Qualifications and Position Requirements:
  • Xactimate experience a must. 5+ years preferred.
  • Prior SERVPRO experience a plus
  • Docusketch experience a plus
  • Experience in Water Mitigation, Mold Remediation, and Fire Restoration experience required
  • DryBook, Dash, or any other moisture reading/logging/mapping software a plus
  • Professional and clear communication skills both orally and in writing
  • Self driven and proactive
  • IICRC certifications preferred
  • Ability to travel locally and out of state when necessary
  • Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law
  • Clear driving record
Physical and Work Environment Requirements:
  • Ability to regularly lift 50 pounds and ability to lift up to 100 pounds with assistance
  • Exposure to chemicals
  • Walking and standing for long periods of time, driving, sitting, climbing,
  • Ability to climb ladders and work at ceiling heights
  • Ability to work in tight spaces (e.g., attics)
  • Repetitive pushing/pulling/lifting/carrying objects
