WTWH Media is launching a new Account Management team within the revenue organization. This team will focus on prospecting, qualifying and pitching The WTWH Media value proposition to potential customers. We’re seeking B2B Media Account Managers interested in developing new sales and growing existing accounts. The position will drive revenue in the Engineering Verticals - Design Engineering, Robotics, Medical Device, Electrical Engineering, Packaging OEM, Automation, Controls – through developing a pipeline of new clients in each respective industry, fielding inbound inquires and grow existing accounts.


This position requires someone who is ambitious, energetic and demonstrates strong initiative. We want someone who is comfortable selling online advertising, custom content, webinars, newsletters, and lead generation products. We’re seeking a self-starter who is comfortable prioritizing inbound leads while proactively prospecting outbound leads, who has experience in digital marketing/media to expand revenue across WTWH brands and products. The right candidate can communicate effectively via email and in person using multi-media presentations. This individual should have a passion for full-cycle sales management, which includes expertise in relationship building, relentlessly navigating & networking to brand decision-makers, and be highly motivated to help their team surpass revenue goals and internal expectations.


Come join us as we launch the Account Management team. You’ll first train you with our Customer Service Representative (CSR) team for the first 90 days to build your understanding of our operations. When you’ve mastered CSR, you’ll transition into sales training where you will shadow with successful, experiences sales professionals honing your full-cycle sales skills.


This is a full-time, salaried position with commission opportunities and offering the ability to work in a hybrid remote environment. We’re seeding new Account Managers with existing accounts, paying commission on sales in addition to a base salary paid semi-monthly.


The chosen candidate must be able to attend in-person CSR training in Cleveland for two weeks, then work three days per week in our Chicago Loop office. Approximately 15-20% travel will be expected to participate in industry events and client meetings.


WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

  • Prospecting, pitching and closing a high volume of new partners, both inbound and outbound
  • Managing the full sales cycle including prospecting, qualifying leads, strategic fact-finding, pitching of all MB products and franchises, and negotiations through deal close.
  • Supporting relationship management, including upselling and renewing business within existing partnerships
  • Performing strategic planning and ownership of your own book of business including account prioritization, organization and forecasting
  • Maintaining accurate and timely customer/prospect, pipeline, and forecast data
  • Working collaboratively with the rest of the team to share learnings, best practices and strategy to achieve team goals
  • Project managing customer print and digital advertising campaigns from material collection through to approvals and final metrics reporting
  • Serving as the first point of contact on the assigned brand(s), answering incoming calls and general email inquiries as necessary
  • Conducting outbound calling and emails into vertical market targets while working with vertical brand leaders and management on cross-vertical proposals and account relationships as required
  • Onboarding clients and tracking deliverables against executed engagement
  • Coordinating with accounting team on invoicing and other billing/receivable matters
  • Preparing and engaging in weekly/monthly reporting and meetings
Requirements:

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

  • 2-3 years of experience in a customer facing role, and at least 6-12 months of full cycle sales preferred
  • Experience in media, marketing and/or advertising preferred
  • Strong foundation in client presentations and basic understanding of sales performance metrics
  • Experience selling face-to-face at industry events and in client offices
  • Thorough understanding of the complete sales cycle, including researching, prospecting, outreach, pitching, negotiating, and closing deals
  • Ability to forecast, track and report on sales performance and meet quarterly targets
  • Exceptional teamwork and collaboration skills
  • Bachelor’s degree or certificate in marketing from an accredited college or university (preferred)
