CarShield is seeking talent to join its growing Payment Processing / Collections team. This role is responsible for handling inbound and outbound calls with existing customers to assist in bringing accounts current. Successful candidates will have excellent communication and customer service skills, strong work ethic, and be motivated by goals and putting their problem-solving skills to use
Reporting to the Payment Processing Manager, this position is responsible for:
- Collecting payments from existing customers with past due accounts;
- Inbound and outbound calls;
- Other tasks as assigned.
Requirements for Collections / Payment Processing Representative:
- Ability to work on-site at our headquarters in St. Peters, MO;
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow directions;
- Ability to present oneself well over the phone.;
- Excellent customer service skills;
- Strong communication skills;
- Ability to receive constructive criticism well;
- Ability to effectively multi-task;
- 2+ years' experience in a call center environment, collections experience preferred - training provided;
- Basic computer and typing skills;
- Must be able to be licensed by the State of Missouri (application process and fee supported by company);
Pay Rate and Benefits for Collections / Payment Processing Representative:
- $17/hour, plus performance bonus (Average ~$21-25/hour)
