Estimator/Project Manager

Job type: Full-time

Schedule: 6-4:30 M-TH, 6-11 Fr.

Description:

Central Wisconsin Woodworking Corporation is seeking a full time Estimator/Project Manager at our Weston location. The Estimator/Project Manager is responsible for understanding the full context of each woodworking project and can tailor unique plans for each customer and ensure satisfaction. This position works in collaboration with the Purchasing and Engineering departments to ensure company profitability, project success, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Estimate project cost and scope utilizing estimating software (Excel/Seradex)
  • Work with Purchasing to ensure on-time receipt of materials (especially "special order" items)
  • Prepare change orders and track all documents (contracts and drawings) needed for the project
  • Conduct pertinent communications with vendors and customers
  • Document communication in project management software
  • Meet with customer and assist with material selections
  • Take field dimensions as needed
  • Understand and ensure job profitability
  • Understand project schedule and communicate expectations between the customers and the Production department

Requirements:

  • Minimum of associates degree in a construction related field
  • Must be able to work independently and as a team member
  • Advanced communication skills
  • Have knowledge of Microsoft Office software
  • Valid driver's license
  • Detail oriented
  • Self-starting
