Position Overview:

The Human Resources Specialist will manage recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and benefits administration for WindRiver Management and related companies. The HR Specialist closely collaborates with the Human Resources Manager to ensure all related policies and procedures are in compliance with relevant laws and regulations and ensures a positive candidate and employee experience. This is a part time position (25 hours per week).

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Recruitment Strategy: Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates.
  2. Sourcing and Screening: Utilize various channels to source candidates, including job boards, social media, networking, and referrals. Screen resumes and applications to identify potential candidates.
  3. Interviewing: Conduct interviews (phone, video, and in-person) to assess candidate qualifications and fit for the organization.
  4. Candidate Experience: Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process by providing timely communication and support.
  5. Collaboration: Work closely with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop job descriptions.
  6. Onboarding: Coordinate the onboarding process for new hires, including paperwork, orientation, and training.
  7. Benefits Administration: Manage employee benefits, including enrollment, communication, and compliance.
  8. Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations related to recruitment and hiring processes.
  9. Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date recruitment data and reports to track key metrics and trends.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year of Human Resources and Recruiting experience preferred
  • Excellent written, verbal communication and collaborative skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams
  • Strong integrity with organizational, confidentiality and communicational skills
  • Ability to work independently under minimal supervision
