Job DescriptionJob Description

Smiles 4 Kids Pediatric Dental is seeking an experienced and compassionate Pediatric Sedation Dentist to join our team on a part-time basis.

The ideal candidate will provide sedation dentistry services to our pediatric patients one day per week, ensuring a comfortable and positive dental experience for children who may have dental anxiety, special needs, or require complex dental treatments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform sedation procedures (oral, IV, or general anesthesia) on pediatric patients.
  • Collaborate with dental assistants, and other staff to ensure safe and effective sedation.
  • Maintain a calming and reassuring environment for both patients and their families.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and state regulations related to sedation dentistry.
  • Communicate clearly and compassionately with parents/guardians regarding treatment plans and post-care instructions.

Requirements:

  • DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school.
  • Active state dental license.
  • Certification in Pediatric Dentistry (preferred).
  • Sedation certification (IV, oral, or general anesthesia).
  • Previous experience working with pediatric patients under sedation.
  • Strong communication skills and a passion for working with children.
