Omaha Children's Hospital is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pediatric Nursing Assistant to join our team. As a Pediatric Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our young patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct care to pediatric patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, including performing and/or assisting with tests and patient care procedures.
  • Assist with indirect unit support needs related to supplies and equipment.
  • Document patient care provided and maintain accurate records.
  • Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients and families.
  • Perform clerical and receptionist duties as needed.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Experience as a nursing assistant with pediatric patients preferred.
  • Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association required.
  • Current and valid Nurse Aide registry in the State of NE or IA depending on state of residence required.
