We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Pediatric Care Specialist to join our team at Children's Hospital & Medical Center. As a key member of our pediatric unit, you will provide direct care to pediatric patients, ensuring their comfort, safety, and personal needs are met.
Responsibilities- Provide individualized patient care, performing and/or assisting with area tests and patient care procedures as delegated by the RN.
- Adhere to hospital policies and procedures, providing individual patient cares according to the plan of care, delegated tasks, and physician orders.
- Participate with the multidisciplinary team in providing feedback/input into the patient/family care needs.
- Set and revise priorities based on patient care urgency, patient/family/staff requests, and other department demands/schedules.
- Document patient care provided, ensuring accuracy and completion within established time frames.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience as a nursing assistant with pediatric patients preferred.
- Basic Life Support through American Heart Association required and current and valid Nurse Aide registry in the State of NE or IA depending on state of residence.
