We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Finance & Accounting Associate to join our team on a part-time basis (20-30 hours per week). The ideal candidate will support our finance and accounting departments with various administrative and clerical tasks.

Department: Finance/Accounting

Reports to: Finance Manager

Key Responsibilities for an Accounting Associate:

  • Document Management: File and organize financial documents, ensuring accurate and timely record-keeping.
  • Ad Hoc Support: Provide assistance to the general accounting, tax, and cost accounting teams on various ad hoc projects as needed.

Qualifications for an Accounting Associate:

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent is required.
  • Finance and Business Administration experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with accounting software systems such as QuickBooks & SAP is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.


This role routinely uses standard office equipment, including a laptop computer and cell phone. The employee is generally required to spend long periods of time sitting, typing, and working at a computer. May require the ability to occasionally lift and transport items. The estimated base hourly rate for an Accounting Associate is $20.50 an hour. The salary range information provided is in accordance with applicable state and local laws regarding salary transparency that are currently in effect and may be implemented in the future. The range represents a good faith estimate of the range that GLOVIS EA reasonably expects to pay for this job at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel.
