Description: The Restaurant Assistent Manager is a dynamic leader responsible for overseeing all aspects of restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and maintaining high standards of service, cleanliness, and maintenance. In addition to their managerial duties, they actively participate in maintaining cleanliness throughout the restaurant, oversee repairs and maintenance tasks, and ensure that purchase and labor goals are met. They also oversee hiring and recruiting processes, ensuring the selection of qualified candidates who align with the restaurant's values and standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily restaurant operations, including staffing, scheduling, and inventory management.
  • Train, supervise, and motivate staff to provide excellent customer service and uphold brand standards.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and sanitary restaurant environment.
  • Monitor food quality and presentation, addressing any issues promptly and proactively.
  • Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback with professionalism and empathy.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase sales, improve efficiency, and enhance profitability.
  • Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate goals, expectations, and performance feedback.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in restaurant assistent management or a related role is required.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of restaurant operations, including food and beverage service, kitchen management, and customer relations.
  • Familiarity with POS systems, inventory management, and financial reporting.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
  • Food handler's certification or willingness to obtain one.
  • Reliable and punctual attendance is essential.
