Job Description: As a Retail Sales Representative at Global Partners, you will be responsible for engaging with customers, driving sales, and ensuring a high standard of service. Your role will involve product promotion, customer assistance, and contributing to the overall success of our store.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Engagement:
- Greet customers warmly and provide personalized assistance based on their needs.
- Actively engage with customers to understand their preferences and recommend suitable products.
- Provide detailed information about product features, benefits, and promotions.
Sales and Promotion:
- Drive sales by effectively promoting products and upselling additional items.
- Achieve individual and store sales goals through excellent customer service and product knowledge.
- Assist with setting up promotional displays and participating in sales events or campaigns.
Store Operations:
- Assist with stocking shelves, organizing merchandise, and maintaining store displays.
- Monitor inventory levels, report discrepancies or low stock items to management, and assist with restocking.
- Ensure the store environment is clean, organized, and inviting for customers.
Team Collaboration:
- Work effectively with team members to meet store objectives and provide exceptional service.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay informed about store procedures, products, and company policies.
- Support colleagues with various tasks and projects to ensure smooth store operations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in retail or sales is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on customer satisfaction and sales performance.
- Ability to understand and convey product information clearly to customers.
- Basic math skills and proficiency in using a cash register and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- A positive attitude with a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends if necessary.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in retail management or sales are a plus.
