Position Summary

Are you a driven Inside Sales Representative with a passion for education and a knack for strategic outreach? We’re seeking a dynamic professional to spearhead campaigns, make impactful outbound customer connections, and generate new sales opportunities in the K-12 educational space. In this role, you'll engage in consultative selling, offering innovative, research-based ELA and math solutions to schools in your territory. Partnering with our outside sales team, you’ll play a critical role in expanding our market presence and driving the adoption of both print and digital educational resources. Your success will be rewarded with a competitive revenue goal and a lucrative sales incentive plan.


Responsibilities

  • Consultative Selling: Leverage a strategic outbound sales process to understand customer needs and position EPS Learning’s products as solutions that help them achieve their educational goals.
  • Relationship Building: Cultivate and strengthen multi-level relationships within accounts to effectively market and sell our educational resources, with a focus on private, parochial, and charter schools.
  • Territory Management: Own your geographic territory by targeting key institutions, tracking market trends, and using CRM tools to maximize efficiency and intelligence sharing.
  • Team Collaboration: Foster a positive and collaborative team environment, working closely with internal departments to unlock revenue opportunities and deliver exceptional customer value.
  • Overcoming Challenges: Navigate objections with confidence and turn potential rejections into opportunities through resilience and customer-centric problem-solving.
  • Customer Engagement: Respond promptly to customer inquiries, follow up on leads, and consistently move customers toward our user-friendly online order-entry platform.
  • Strategic Input: Contribute to sales forecasting, profit analysis, and the development of marketing plans by providing insights gained from your territory.
  • Event Participation: Represent EPS Learning at sales meetings, national and regional conferences, trade shows, and strategic customer meetings to deepen your industry knowledge and expand your professional network.


Qualifications

  • Preferably holds a Bachelor’s degree in education or a business-related field.
  • Ideally 2 to 4 years of sales experience (preferably as an SDR) or prior experience as a classroom educator with demonstrated entrepreneurial or side-hustle activities.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Possess a high level of professionalism, ethics, confidence and a commitment to a team approach.
  • Engaging and goal-oriented personality.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to deliver product presentations.
  • Must reside in Florida and be willing to travel occasionally throughout the state and Southeast region.
