The Hilton Garden Inn Milwaukee Northwest Conference Center is searching for a Restaurant Supervisor to join our team Do you have a passion for food and beverage and a genuine spirit to serve? If so, apply today.

What will I be doing?

As a Restaurant Supervisor, you would be responsible for overseeing all restaurant operations, to ensure Hotel's service, brand, cleanliness and conditional standards are performed on a consistent basis.

Essential Functions:

  • Daily supervision of staff in the restaurant including the weekly scheduling of all servers, bartenders and bussers
  • Greet and inform guest and team members of specials and new items in the restaurant
  • Handling of phone inquiries by guests
  • Respond to all guest requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner
  • Complete understanding of menu and restaurant promotions and specials
  • Have current knowledge of responsible alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages service practices in accordance with federal, state, local and company regulations
  • Aide the Food & Beverage Manager in inventory of all food and beverage in the restaurant and The Shop
  • Maintain stock of paper goods, such as: napkins, straws, Call & Collect containers, etc.
  • Assigned duties as needed

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of wine and elevated service of beverages.
  • Knowledge of service standards and ability to enforce them.
  • Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role in the food and beverage industry.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of food safety and health regulations.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
