Employment Status: Full-Time


Pay Range: $28.00 - $32.00 /hourly DOE


The hiring pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00 per hour based on skills, education, and experience relevant to this role.

Benefits:

Effective the first of the month following the date of hire, employees are eligible to participate in the following Inventprise employee benefit programs:


  • Medical, Dental, Vision, FSA, or HSA:  Currently Inventprise contributes 80% toward the Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage for the employee, and enrolled spouse and dependents.  Medical plans are currently provided through Premera Blue Cross.
  • 401(k) program: Inventprise contributes 3% of employee base pay each pay period to their 401(k) account. Employee contributions are at the discretion of the employee.
  • Paid Time Off: Employees start PTO accruals at the rate of 5.83 hours each pay period - annualized equivalent of 140 hours/year.
  • Paid Holidays: Inventprise offers 9 paid holidays each year: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Day after Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and two floating holidays.

Duties And Responsibilities:


  • Perform daily functions of Quality Control Raw Materials Testing Laboratory.
  • Complete and maintain Material Specification Forms for all chemicals and consumables which are a part of the Raw material Testing program.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation according to regulatory guidelines.
  • Maintain adequate inventory of materials necessary for all Raw Material Testing activities.
  • Initiate any Non-Conformance or Change Control activities as necessary as per established procedures.
  • Initiate personal and departmental goals and track progress towards goal completion in a timely manner.
  • Perform the daily activities of the Raw Materials Team including sampling, testing and completion of required documentation.
  • Establish communication with outside vendors to gather information regarding test methodologies for raw material testing.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Thorough knowledge and practical implementation of GDP and GLP principles is required.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, creative, and goal-oriented environment.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and within a team setting to complete necessary activities.
  • Intellectually contribute to group goals by staying current with scientific literature and state-of-the-art methodology.
  • Effectively prioritize tasks to meet goals and drive projects to completion according to timelines.


Education and Experience:

  • The position requires a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline such as chemistry, biochemistry, microbiology, biology or biotechnology.


Physical Demands:

  • The position requires the ability to occasionally lift up to 10 lbs.
  • The position may require sitting and working on a computer for extended periods of time.


Mental Demands:

  • This position requires the ability to multi-task on several individual tasks and to prioritize according to business requirements.

Working Conditions:

  • Working conditions are split between working in an office, warehouse and laboratory environment.
