About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Quality Control Specialist to join our team at Professional Service Industries. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality in our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough site inspections and materials testing to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
  • Develop and maintain detailed documentation of test results and site observations.
  • Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and owners to resolve quality control issues and ensure project deliverables.
  • Utilize technical expertise to interpret construction plans and specifications, and provide recommendations for quality improvement.
  • Train and supervise junior staff members in quality control procedures and best practices.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required; 5+ years of relevant construction inspection experience preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable driving record required.
  • Preference for certifications such as ICC, ACI, Nuclear Gauge, WABO, WAQTC, and/or CWI.
  • Basic math, calculator, and computer skills required.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook) necessary.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift, move, push, and pull 30 to 50 pounds frequently; occasionally over 50 pounds with assistance.
  • Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication and make sound discriminations.
  • Ability to kneel and squat occasionally; walk and stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions.
  • Ability to climb occasionally.
