Summary:

The Human Generalist will oversee and direct the routine operations of the Human Resources Department, including interviewing, hiring, and orienting staff with the assistance of the HR Consultant. They will serve as a vital link between management and employees by addressing inquiries, interpreting policies, and resolving work-related issues. The role encompasses responsibilities in affirmative action, HIPAA compliance, surveys, employee relations, engagement, retention, and training and development. The Human Generalist will manage and coordinate multiple human resources functional areas and supervise HR Assistants responsible for benefits administration, onboarding, and credentialing. They will ensure a responsive and positive employee experience that reflects the company's culture, values, and behaviors, with a strong focus on onboarding, retention, and offboarding. Additionally, the Human Generalist will execute the company's recruitment strategy for registered nurses (RNs), licensed practical nurses (LPNs), nursing aides, and other positions in alignment with the company's business and growth objectives.

Education

Bachelor's degree or Associate degree with a certificate in Human Resources Management or more than 3 years' experience as a Human Resources Generalist

Experience:

  • A minimum of three years' human resources management experience
  • Healthcare experience preferred

Position Description and Evaluation Form

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 - $34.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
