Accountant / HR Generalist

SmartTalent Kirkland is seeking to hire an experienced Accountant/HR Associate for a local custom manufacturing company based in Woodinville, WA. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of previous experience in both accounting & HR.

LOCATION: Woodinville, WA

Pay: $30 - $35 DOE

SCHEDULE:

Monday –Friday 6am – 230pm – Some flexibility on start time available.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

·Maintain employee records, on-board new employees with regards to HR aspects, maintain employee benefits programs, including medical and 401(k)

·Weekly payroll posting and processing, including 401(k), to third-party sites

·Prepare financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements

·Conduct account analysis and bank reconciliations

·Manage tax preparation and compliance activities

·Utilize financial software such as Sage, and other tools to maintain accurate financial records

·Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable back-up as needed

Qualifications:

·Proficiency in double-entry bookkeeping principles

·Strong knowledge of financial report writing

·Experience with Sage, Quicken, or similar accounting software

·Intermediate to advanced experience with Word, Excel, Outlook

·Ability to perform account analysis and bank reconciliations

·Knowledge of tax procedures and payroll processing

·Strong organizational skills, time management skills and attention to detail
