Woodinville, United States Alliance Nursing Full time
Job DescriptionJob Description

Are you ready to make a real impact with your recruiting expertise? Join Alliance Nursing as our Recruiting Manager and be part of a unique, fulfilling environment.

As a family-owned business founded by nurses, we recognize and celebrate your contributions. Here, you're a vital member of our close-knit, supportive team that values collaboration and passion.

You will play a crucial role in attracting exceptional nurses for our clients-the most medically fragile cases in Washington state. These patients require highly skilled care, and your work ensures they receive the best.

Our specialized services provide medically intensive home health care to technology-dependent or developmentally delayed patients, a niche few companies serve. This offers a unique opportunity to bridge the gap between hospitals and home care.

If you want a role where your recruiting talents are valued and impactful, we would love to have you join our team.

Now, enough about us. Let's talk about YOU

You will love this job and working for us as a Recruiter if you are:

  • Extremely socially focused and have a desire to go out and meet nurses and nursing students at job fairs, classroom presentations, or networking events.
  • Naturally energetic, lively, informal, and very persuasive on the phone, through emails, on social media, and in person. If you have ever been told you are a great storyteller or teacher, we want to meet you
  • A great listener and show a great attentiveness to other people. This means you have an ability to read other people, to listen to them, and to empathize with them.
  • An experienced public speaker who is not afraid of getting up in front of groups of 20 or more people, telling them all about what an amazing company we are.
  • Highly effective in team communication to ensure operational efficiency and collaboration.
  • Magnetic and can stand at a job fair booth and draw people in to want to learn more about us.
  • Experienced with creating engaging content on social media
  • Organized and able to keep a few balls up in the air since you are a part of a whole team responsible for attracting, hiring, and onboarding nurses and nurse assistants.
  • A proactive team player with a competitive drive to help us all take care of our families and to find the right people to join us in our mission.

Does this sound like you? If so, here are some more details:

What the Recruiter Job is Like:

  • Each day different from the next; especially in personal interactions. We have a fast fast-paced environment and you may have multiple projects going simultaneously from screening applicants, scheduling interviews, attending scheduling meetings to learn about job needs, to posting job ads, searching for leads, attending job fairs, doing presentations in classrooms, and more
  • The job requires "How can I help you?" attitude rather than a high-pressure approach. Lots of attention is spent on building and maintaining relationships, especially where helping, not pressuring, others fosters the relationship during Recruiting, Interviewing and onboarding with potential candidates. However, this does not mean you aren't hungry for new connections and building long-lasting relationships. You know the more people who learn about us and our mission, the more families we can take care of.
  • Adherence to established guidelines and procedures is important and at times you may need to involve others in the decision-making, such as the Director of Recruiting, the HR Manager or the CEO.
  • The position includes being responsible for the compilation, accuracy and maintenance of personnel records and data management, such as proprietary tracking dashboards, human resources software, and our applicant tracking system.

Our company is made of All Star independent contributors who excel in being autonomous in their roles but work great as a team, bringing our strengths to the table. In this role, you will own your position and be supported by caring people who want to see you succeed.

Hours: 8:30am 5:00pm

Other Qualifications:

  • Strong social media presence on multiple platforms
  • Demonstrated excellence in coordinating with scheduling teams to ensure smooth operations and effective communication about project pipelines.
  • Highly skilled in managing schedules and assisting with administrative tasks to support overall organizational efficiency.
  • Experience creating online content and graphics
  • Public speaking and delivery of presentations to group
  • Must be able to use discretion and maintain confidentiality with client and employee information.
  • Proficient computer skills to include Adobe and PDF documents, MS Word, MS Teams, Zoom, Excel, Outlook and database and applicant tracking navigation and entry.
  • Some Knowledge regarding employment law and HR best practices
  • Communication Proficiency; must be able to communicate effectively; verbally, reading and writing, in a way that is understood by others who communicate in the English language.
  • Valid Washington state driver's license required; This position requires driving to out-of-office events

Experience: Minimum of three years in recruiting or sales; One year in healthcare recruiting industry desired

Education: Bachelor's degree; Marketing or graphic design degree or training is considered a plus
