Job Summary:

The TwinSpires Director of B2B Operations is responsible for coordinating with different partners to improve process efficiency and drive growth in our B2B relationships. These responsibilities include creating a regular review process of key performance indicators, establishing annual targets for improvement, managing contract details and supporting the revenue goals of our partners. The Director manages all B2B relationships and represents our partners goals to internal TwinSpires stakeholders. The B2B scope of this role includes online horse race wagering applications.

Essential Functions:

  • Operational Rigor: Establish and facilitate recurring reviews with our B2B partners to review past performance and collaborate on future goals.
  • Stakeholder Engagement and Relationship Management: Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, providing regular updates on product strategies, performance, and key milestones; Advocate for the B2B partners as a strategic driver of company success.
  • Product Enhancements: Collaborate with B2B partners to identify improvements to the product. Create requirements definition for the product enhancement and then champion the changes with the TwinSpires product team to get the changes into the product roadmap.
  • Communication & Facilitation: Manage the day-to-day relationship with external partners and be the single point of contact for all escalations and communications; Establish and execute a robust communication plan for product changes, incident notifications and general updates.
  • B2B Growth: Identify and explore opportunities to grow partner volume by improving the performance of existing partners and/or establishing relationships with new partners.
  • Program Management: Manage product initiatives in collaboration with TwinSpires Product team to deliver features and enhancements for B2B partners.
  • Risk Management and Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify and mitigate risks associated with process and market dynamics; Instill a culture of continuous improvement and innovation across the B2B landscape.
  • Technical Acumen: Strong understanding of technical products and ability to position technology to solve B2B challenges.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; MBA or equivalent experience is highly preferred.
  • A minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in process improvement; operations and technical product management, with at least 2 years in leadership roles.
  • Demonstrated success working with internal and external partners in a fast-paced, technical environment

Required Qualifications:

  • Exceptional strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Detail oriented, professional demeanor, strong organization and project management skills.
  • Must have excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical abilities.
  • Experience and passion around horse racing
  • Authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis.
  • Work-related travel is required.
