Avanti Restaurant Solutions, a successful, privately held, $75M company, is looking for a Staff Accountant. Responsible for working within a collaborative team, the Staff Accountant’s role will support all facets of the Accounting Department – Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and General Accounting. This role has potential for growth within the department as the company continues to grow.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

  • Performing month-end activities including P&L and balance sheet reconciliations and analysis, accruals, and journal entries
  • Analyze Income Statement Budget vs. Actual
  • Maintain balance sheet accounts
  • Generate customer invoices and maintain accurate records of customer transactions
  • Reconcile general ledger accounts for assigned subsidiary
  • Ad-Hoc projects assigned by Accounting Manager

Required Qualifications:

  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Ability to collaborate across all departments and teams
  • Great attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written
  • 1-3 years Staff Accountant experience
  • Bachelor of Arts Degree in Accounting

Preferred Qualifications:

  • NetSuite experience

The is a full-time non-exempt position.

Compensation: $60K - $75K DOE
