Position Overview:

Are you an experienced HVAC/R Service Technician looking to join a dynamic and growing team? We are seeking skilled technicians to perform diagnosis, repair, and preventative maintenance on a variety of refrigeration and HVAC equipment. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with strong mechanical aptitude and a passion for delivering quality service to customers.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnostic and Repair Work: Perform diagnosis and repair on refrigeration units, evaporative condensers, ice machines, water pumps, compressors, air handlers, electric motors, and HVAC units, ensuring all equipment returns to optimal operating levels.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Conduct regular maintenance to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime for customers.
  • Documentation: Complete all paperwork in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel throughout Eastern MA as needed.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other related duties and projects as assigned by management.


Must-Have Skills:

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in HVAC/R service.
  • Technical Aptitude: Strong mechanical skills and ability to troubleshoot.
  • Customer Service: Excellent customer service skills and ability to build strong relationships with customers.
  • Work Ethic: Strong work ethic, self-motivated, and professional attitude.
  • Driving Record: Clean driving record and a valid State Driver License.
  • On-Call Availability: Ability to be on call on a rotating schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Integrity: Understands and demonstrates ethical behavior in all situations.
  • Certifications:
  • EPA Type II Certification (Required)
  • HVAC/R License/Certification in the State of MA (Preferred)
  • OSHA 30 Certification (Preferred)


Compensation:

  • Hourly Rate:
  • 5+ years of experience: $45/hr
  • 8-10 years of experience: $50/hr
  • 10+ years of experience: $65/hr

  • Hiring Radius: Within 100 miles of Weymouth, MA 02189
  • Relocation: Open to candidates willing to relocate (license must be valid in MA)
