JOB TITLE: Systems Engineer 3 - Reliability & Maintainability

LOCATION: Warner Robins, GA

PAY RATE: $71.50 per hour

Summary:

  • Conduct failure analyses to recommend operational, maintenance, and process changes to maximize aircraft system reliability, availability, and lifespan.

  • Review and correct G081 maintenance data and aircraft status.

  • Track and analyze R&M performance, including High Driver Analysis, RTOK, and CND Analysis.

  • Perform reliability processes such as data collection, metric development, and trend analysis.

  • Collaborate with Engineering, Provisioning, and Asset Management teams to conduct RCM/MSG-3 analysis of existing and modified systems.

  • Apply an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to ensure lifecycle-balanced system solutions.

  • Evaluate customer and operational needs to define system performance requirements and ensure compatibility of program interfaces.

  • Perform various analyses focused on system affordability, safety, reliability, and other specialty quality factors.

  • Develop and monitor requirements management processes, tools, risk management, and technology readiness.

  • Engage in cross-functional technical issue resolution.

  • Develop methods to determine component reliability and prepare related documentation.

  • Prepare diagrams, charts, drawings, calculations, and reports to define reliability problems and make recommendations for improvements.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry from an accredited course of study.

  • 5+ years of experience with reliability analyses, including mission reliability parameters, mean time between failure, and schedule reliability.

  • Ability to read electrical and mechanical engineering drawings, including schematics, wiring diagrams, and install drawings.

  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MySQL/PL SQL/ORACLE.

  • Strong verbal and presentation skills.

  • Must be self-motivated and capable of working with minimal supervision.

Desired Skills:

  • Knowledge of the Air Force's G081 system is a plus.
