ONE Elite Staffing has partnered with City of Dallas and is seeking a Contract Specialist.CONTRACT SPECIALIST
Position Purpose:
The Contract Specialist will manage the entire project process which includes specification preparation, agenda item preparation, contract development and management, and relationship with internal and external entities.Essential Functions:
  • Provides administrative support for large scale purchasing and procurement activities for the Office of Homeless Solutions.
  • Reviews and monitors all assigned contracts.
  • Maintains a database for contract monitoring.
  • Manages contracts ensuring compliance with terms and other regulations.
  • Prepares change orders, supplemental agreements, subcontractor changes, and other processes.
  • Prepares and maintains reports on contract and financial activities to ensure that management has contract information.
  • Performs any and all other work as needed or assigned.
Education:
  1. Associate's Degree in Business Management related field (must)
  2. Bachelor's Degree in Business Management related field (preferred).
Work Experience:
A minimum of 3 years of any of the following:
  1. Purchasing.
  2. Contract Development.
  3. Other administrative related work.
Knowledge and Skills:
  • Knowledge of business management principles, practices, and techniques.
  • Ability to operate computer and related software such as Word and Excel.
  • Communicating effectively verbally and in writing.
  • Establishing and maintaining strong working relationships.
Application Process Includes:
  • Ability to pass a background check with no FELONY or Class A/B MISDEMEANOR(s).
  • Ability to pass a drug test.
