Position Description:

Launch new vehicle and powertrain programs in North America assembly plants. Responsible for the overall program management and delivery of new vehicle programs. Activities include but are not limited to; Issue Resolution, Quality/Status Assessments, Fleet (Vehicle) Management and Budgets/Timing

  • Managing the Launch Teams transition to the plant.
  • Managing Pre-Production Build Events.
  • Managing the ordering, building, testing, and disposition of vehicles.
  • Managing the Pre-Production Drive Fleet Evaluation Plan.
  • Managing Product Development change approvals ahead of prototype builds.
  • Gatekeeper for New Model Programs.
  • Leading the build issues management process for the cross functional program team.
  • Co-Chairing meetings and driving part support issues to resolution for each pre-production build.
  • Champion Senior Management Presentations.
  • Preparing and presenting New Model Program weekly assessment reports.
  • Managing launch budget approval and executing elements controlled by New Model Programs within the launch budget.
  • This position involves long-term travel (up to 9-12 months at a time) to support assembly plants during program launches.

Skills Required:

  • Manage launch team transition to the manufacturing plant Lead build issues management process for the cross functional program team

  • Prefer Strong communication skills Detail oriented and highly organized

Experience Required:

  • Managing programs.
  • Manufacturing, Program Management, or prior launch experience is preferred

Education Required:

  • Bachelor's degree

Education Preferred:

  • Engineering degree preferred.
