We are looking for an Account Director who will oversee client relationships and strategize across multiple marketing dimensions, including content and SEO.

Role Summary:

The Account Director will be pivotal in managing and nurturing client relationships and ensuring the success of their marketing programs. This role involves strategic oversight and direct involvement in developing integrated marketing strategies, where content creation and SEO optimization are essential elements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and sustain robust relationships with clients, thoroughly understanding their business needs and challenges.
  • Serve as a knowledgeable advisor during client discussions, providing insights and being able to devise and recommend preliminary solutions.
  • Serve as the primary liaison and point of contact for clients, both through regular meetings and via email communication, to ensure high levels of satisfaction and minimize churn.
  • Collaborate with clients to develop and oversee internal execution of marketing programs to enhance top of funnel activity, like traffic and lead generation.
  • Collaborate with our delivery team to develop and execute marketing tactics, content, and campaigns that are tailored to the unique needs and complex buying cycles of our clients.
  • Manage the creation of topic clusters, content maps, and editorial calendars that integrate seamlessly with overall marketing and SEO strategies, ensuring consistency across all platforms.
  • Oversee the development and refinement of content by our content team, ensuring it aligns with strategic marketing goals and client expectations.
  • Conduct client interviews and prepare content briefings to ensure content accuracy and relevance.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to deliver comprehensive marketing solutions that address complex client needs.
  • Monitor project timelines in collaboration with the Project Manager, while ensuring all deliverables are executed to the highest standard.
  • Generate comprehensive reports and presentations that articulate campaign performance and strategic recommendations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5-7+ years of proven experience in account management within an agency environment, specifically working with B2B clients with complex sales cycles.
  • Experience and understanding of how to solve client needs with marketing solutions, especially in a B2B context.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and with clients at all levels.
  • Proficient with SEO tools like Semrush.
  • Experience with HubSpot and ClickUp are a major plus.
  • Certifications including HubSpot Inbound and HubSpot Marketing Hub are a major plus.
  • Strong strategic and analytical skills, with the ability to integrate content and SEO insights into broader marketing initiatives.
  • Fluent in English and eligible to work in the United States, the United Kingdom, or Ireland, adhering to an Eastern Standard Time schedule.
