Human Resources Generalist

Position Summary

The Human Resources Generalist will support all facets of the employee life cycle (onboarding, HR compliance, and offboarding). This position will also provide a variety of HR administrative support. The overall goal of the position is to assist in the efficient operations of the human resources facet of the organization.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Communicate and respond to inquiries with a sense of urgency from current and new employees.
  • Interact regularly with agency hiring managers as well as the HR and Recruiting teams at Keystone Agency Partners.
  • Assist with agency communication.
  • Assist with employee relations.
  • Support recruitment efforts of the agency by coordinating with the recruitment division.
  • Assist with agency performance management.
  • Coordinate the onboarding of employees.
  • Ensure I-9 compliance.
  • Ensure all required documents are submitted to corporate office for personnel files.
  • Submit personnel data changes.
  • Assist with pre-onboarding, on-boarding, and off-boarding processes.
  • Coordinate agency training.
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives and culture development.
  • Manage employee development programs and continuing education.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Associate’s Degree, or equivalent experience (Bachelor’s Degree preferred with work experience through an internship)
  • Minimum of 2 years of Human Resources experience
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with HR software systems
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in HR record keeping and documentation
  • Excellent communication both in written form (email and document writing) and verbal
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Ability to prioritize work to meet expected and routine deadlines in a fast-paced business environment without oversight
  • Capacity to build and maintain relationships and display strong team player skills
  • Strong organizational and detail-oriented traits
  • Self-motivated, self-starting, with a positive attitude open to flexibility and learning in the role
  • Professional demeanor and ability to maintain confidentiality

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Organization Development, or a related field; Human Resources Certification preferred (PHR)
  • Experience in a rapidly growing and evolving company
  • Demonstrates strong emotional intelligence and an ability to communicate clearly and persuasively
  • Driving results: results-oriented style with a high degree of analytical ability and proven problem-solving skills
  • Flexible and able to multitask; can work within a fast-moving environment, while also driving toward clarity and solutions; demonstrated resourcefulness in setting priorities and driving for results
  • Develop well-structured, clear, and concise communications and presentation
  • Able to work with sensitive, confidential information; a high level of demonstrated discretion and judgment

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm
